The SCORE 4.0 is the MOTORRAD test winner
Held gloves come out on top in the test: sporty leather gloves for everyday use
In the latest comparative test by MOTORRAD magazine, eight sporty leather gloves were put through their paces; to be considered ‘suitable for everyday use’, they were all fitted with a waterproof membrane. The Held Score 4.0 took first place, excelling in particular with top marks in the ‘safety’ and ‘fit/comfort’ categories.
Score 4.0 wins in two categories
In addition to the editorial assessment by MOTORRAD, Sabine Haas-Schinzel, a state-registered occupational therapist and certified hand therapist, was consulted for an independent evaluation based on over 20 years’ professional experience. She tested the gloves at her occupational therapy centre and on her BMW 1250 GS, assessed the test candidates from an anatomical perspective, and awarded points for construction, fit, comfort, workmanship and functionality.
The editorial team also assessed the gloves for the final ranking in terms of impact absorption, waterproofing, features/workmanship and fit/comfort.
