Multiple triumph for Held in the MOTORRAD Readers’ Choice Awards

Held wins the BEST BRAND 2026 award in four categories

Once again this year, the BEST BRANDS in the motorcycle industry were honoured as part of the MOTORRAD trade magazine’s reader poll for the “Motorcycle of the Year 2026” – and we at Held are delighted to report outstanding results.

With no fewer than four first-place finishes and another top ranking, it is clear once again: your trust in our products is stronger than ever. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Four first-place finishes – a result that makes us proud

We have taken the top spot in no fewer than four key categories:

Gloves: 1st place with 73.5% (2025: 71%)
Textile clothing: 1st place with 54.0% (2025: 49.6%)
Leather clothing: 1st place with 51.1% (2025: 41.8%, 3rd place)
Biker jeans: 1st place with 26.0% (2025: 26.9%, 3rd place)

1st place for Held in the “Gloves” category

Our motorcycle gloves remain our absolute forte: with 73.5% approval, we were able to further improve on our already outstanding result of 71% from the previous year – an impressive vote of confidence and a result that is second to none.

1st place for Held in the “Textiles” category

With 54.0% approval, we have achieved a new top result in the textile clothing category and are further consolidating our leading position. More than one in two votes thus go to Held – an impressive vote of confidence!

This further increase compared to last year shows that our well-thought-out concepts for a wide range of applications strike exactly the right chord with riders.

1st place for Held in the ‘Leather clothing’ category

We are particularly proud of our progress in the leather clothing category: the leap from third place to the top – combined with a significant increase of over 9 percentage points – shows that our consistent development is resonating with you.

1st place for Held in the “Biker Jeans” category

A particular success is our leap to first place in the biker jeans category. With 26.0% of the vote, we have climbed from third place to the top. This development underlines just how much our combination of a casual look, high comfort and modern protective technology has won people over. We are particularly proud that we have been able to establish ourselves in this growing and highly competitive segment!

Podium finishes in the “Airbag Vests” and “Backpacks” categories

Airbag vests: 2nd place with 34.3% (2025: 38.1%, 3rd place)

Although we are slightly below last year’s figure here, we are delighted with the improvement to second place. This shows that our innovative safety solutions, such as the recently launched eVest 2, remain among readers’ absolute favourites.

Backpacks: 2nd place with 34.3% (2025: 21.6%, 2nd place)

We recorded a remarkable increase in approval ratings in the ‘Backpacks’ category. Our popular Allround Bag, Explorer Bag and To-Go 2 models are responsible for a rise of just under 13 percentage points.
