Heated gloves are now available from several different manufacturers, but no model impressed the editorial team as much as our INUIT in the heated glove test in MOTORRAD issue 26/2025. The heated winter glove won two awards.
They are reliably waterproof and offer a high level of safety thanks to D3O® knuckle protection. The testers certified the candidate’s good performance in all categories and called it a “flexible all-rounder”: the fingers and palm can be heated separately, the heat distribution is very good, and it is extremely comfortable to wear.
Only the inner lining and grip feel offer room for improvement.
In the end, one thing is clear: the Held INUIT is both the test winner and the price winner!
In the “Leather jackets up to £400” test, the TORVER Top scores highly with its high-quality leather, excellent protection thanks to Level 2 protectors and AA certification. Thanks to flexible stretch zones made of textile and leather, the jacket is compatible with all Held airbag systems. For maximum comfort, it is also equipped with clip-in preparation so that thermal linings or membranes can be retrofitted as required.
The only criticism is the width adjustment, which is limited to the hips. This makes the TORVER the test winner in the leather jacket comparison.
In the “Textile jackets up to £200” test, the ZELDA impressed the editorial team’s testers. Lightweight, comfortable and well ventilated, the jacket impresses with its great fit and airbag compatibility. The front zip with ventilation and the clip-in preparation for adding a thermal or rain jacket were also praised. A comfortable soft collar with magnetic closure completes the comfort features.
Criticisms such as “only Level 1 protectors” and “Certification A” did not prevent the editorial team from giving it a “very good” rating.
In the “Adventure gloves up to £120” test in issue 12/2025 of MOTORRAD, the SAMBIA 2 was the only one of 14 candidates to receive the top rating of “very good” and thus win the test.
Lightweight, airy and very flexible, the SAMBIA 2 impresses with its secure grip, excellent fit and great comfort. Thanks to the conductive NUDUD element, operating a smartphone is easier than ever.
Minor criticisms of the lining and abrasion protection do not detract from the test winner result.
